This Treasures In Heaven craft takes our eyes off the earthly treasures where the world focuses during St. Patrick's Day and brings it back to Jesus. This craft focuses on the verse in Matthew 6:20a. I recommend reading Matthew 6:20-21 with your kids before you start crafting.

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

How Hard is This Activity? 

You can make this St. Patrick's Day Paper Plate craft with any age from three to teen. Each age will need a different level of assistance. The craft involves cutting circles and cutting out the paper plate, cutting and tying yarn, coloring, and writing a Bible verse. If you are doing this with a toddler, a lot of that is going to fall on you and that's okay! In that case, I recommend getting all the pieces and parts ready ahead of time and have your toddler focus on coloring.
